Isfahan

This lovingly created work is based off of tile work from the Isfahan region of Iran. Worked using cotton threads and DMC metallic thread the palate is reminiscent of color combinations used throughout Iran and surrounding Indo-Persian territories. This tracery work is a testament to patience and detail as the threads are worked to mirror each side. Matted in a lovely teal arch and framed in a cherry finish frame, this work would be a great focal point in any niche or on a wall where the work can be proudly displayed.
